Eliot This is the last Will ans Testament of me Anne Catherine Eliot, late of Shooter's Hill Kent but now of Valebrook Ore Sussex spinster of which I appoint my nephew Henry Augustus Eliot and the Reverend Charles John Eliot Executors and bequeath to them Thirty pounds as such Executors I bequeath to the several persons following the Legacies set after their respective names To my Niece Anne Harriette Harkness Three hundred pounds Sterling To my niece Eliza Mary Mann James Three hundred pounds Sterling and To my niece Eliza Maria Yule Two hundred pounds and I direct that the aforesaid Legacies shall be paid free of Legacy duty To my sister in law Jane Eliot and my cousins Charlotte Ann Mann Harriet Louisa Mann and Robert William Parsons Nineteen Guineas each I give to me niece Eliza Mary Mann James all my personal property which may be in my House at Valebrook at the time of my decease I bequeath to my Executor Seven hundred and fifty pounds Sterling In Trust to invest the same on any securities they may think proper as fully and freely as they could do if they were the absolute beneficial owners thereof and pay the Income of such Investments to my niece Mary Jane Eliot for her life by equal half yearly payments the first payment thereof to be made at the expiration of six months from my decease and from and after her decease the said sum of Seven hundred and fifty pounds and the securities for the same shall be held In Trust for my Nephew William Henry Eliot Absolutely I bequeath to my Executors Seven hundred and fifty pounds Sterling In Trust to invest the same in manner aforesaid and pay the Income of such Investment to my Niece Mary Elizabeth Eliot for her life by equal half yearly payments the first payment thereof to be made at the expiration of Six Months from my decease and from and after her decease the said sum of Seven hundred and fifty pounds and the securities for the same shall be held in Trust for my nephews the said Charles John Eliot and Algernon Breynton Eliot as Tenants in Common in equal shares I bequeath to my said Executors Five hundred Pounds Sterling in Trust to invest in manner aforesaid and pay the Income of such Investment to Margaret Eliot the Widow of my late Brother Edward John Eliot for her life by equal half yearly payments the first payment thereof to be made at the expiration of Six months from my decease and from and after her decease the said sum of Five hundred pounds and the securities for the same to be held In Trust for the Children of the said Margaret Eliot equally and absolutely I devise and bequeath my Residuary Real and Personal Estate to my said Nieces Anne Harriette Harkness and Eliza Mary Mann James as Tenants in Common in equal shares I declare that every Estate and Interest hereby given to a Female who is or may be a Married Woman shall be for her separate use I revoke all former Wills In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this nineteenth day of March One Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy Seven Signed and published by the said Testatrix as and for her Last Will and Testament in the presence of us present at the same time who in her presence and others ? and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses Anne Catherine Eliot Horace J.
