Revolutionary War Veteran - answered the call 19 Apr 1775 for fight at Concord and Lexington. This compiler believes he lived in Croydon and died there. Small tombstones are located near his brother, John, in the Spectacle Pond Cemetery that are marked J. E. and S. C. These could well be the stones for Jonathan Elliot and his wife, Sarah Chase.
